Our candles are dipped by hand using an antique revolving candle stand and traditional early American methods. The candle stand holds a circle of 14 hoops called romaines. Each romaine is strung with wicking and dipped 25 to 30 times depending on the season of the year. A thicker coat of wax adheres to the wicking with each dip in colder weather.

Our candles are 80% Bayberry and 20% beeswax-paraffin with a 100% cotton wick.
